Dive in and Read

Together we are enjoying the experience of reading the series published in The New Zealand Herald, Cody's Unexpected Catch. We have discovered a lot about whitebait and reflected on the way we read body language. Lots of new vocabulary has been introduced and discussed as we have honed our reciprocal reading techniques. Predicting based on what we think rather than reading on to find out the answer has been challenging but many children are thinking carefully and justifying their predictions.
